A Tasty Daffodil

Welcome to my garden! This perky puppy always makes me smile when I glance his way. I didn't realize until later that, in this photo, it looks like he is getting ready to munch down on one of the first daffodils of the season.

    Yes, it is a real daffodil. Thank goodness the snails hadn't gotten to this one yet. I think the walnut shell mulch may have helped.
